Some people think that, just because a dating site has money to pay for promotion, they are legit. I’m here to tell you that eHarmony.com definitely has money for promotion because you see them advertised everywhere, but does the service actually work effectively? I’m sure it has the potential to be effective if you spend a whole lot of time and money. However, there are some gnarly complaints about this service that you wouldn’t even believe. Check out my personal review below and I’ll tell you exactly why eHarmony.com is one of the dating sites that you just have to be careful with.
This eHarmony Review Reveals Everything
On the main page of eHarmony.com, they entice you by indicating that it is now free to communicate. You should know better by now that this is just another tactic to pull you in. You can log in for free, but you can’t do much once you get inside until you pay for a full membership. This is just the first step in deceiving the consumer. They also reserve the right to use and redistribute your information. Sounds sketchy, I know. Here’s what you need to know. That means that they can take your pictures, profile description and interests in order to make an entirely new (and fake) profile. This is how they keep the rest of their other sites filled with millions of so-called members. They keep the site looking authentic by adding these fake profiles, which are copied from people who upload their pics and info in hopes of getting a date. They even admit to it if you read the fine print before you join. It’s all in their terms and conditions.
Another common practice of bad dating sites is to send out automated messages. eHarmony is no different when it comes to this. These automated messages are especially frequent when you are enjoying the free features on the site before you pay. They are usually extra flirty and from girls that are somewhat attractive. I got a lot of flirty messages when I was a member of eHarmony. Guess what happened to all those girls who messaged me when I paid for a membership and responded? You guessed it. Most of them never responded. There are just too many scamming practices on this site to make it worth all the money you throw at it just to get laid. You would be better off taking your money and joining one
There are just too many scamming practices on this site to make it worth all the money you throw at it just to get laid. You would be better off taking your money and joining one well-respected site that guarantees you’ll get laid and does not deceive you. I want to briefly cover all the complaints that I came across about this site too. I’ll start with the basics. Sitejabber.com had 230 reported complaints. Consumeraffairs.com had 1,677 filed complaints and pissedconsumer.com had 213 complaints. I’ll tell you right now that those are extremely high complaint numbers across the board. If that many people publically complained then what do you think the number of those that haven’t is at? I hope this review helps to make you more cautious before entering an agreement with a site like this when their scam is so obvious.
Messaging On eHarmony
Believe it or not, I actually got to message two real girls on eHarmony. One of them seemed to lose interest as quick as she showed interest, but the other one came after much searching. She started messaging me back right at the end of my test run. It was fun messaging her, but not enough to make me pay for another whole month. Most of the messages were obviously fake and no, they didn’t get me laid. Most didn’t even give me a hard on because they simply weren’t that hot!
The last girl I was messaging could have potentially turned into a phone conversation, I guess, but I didn’t stick around to find out. It was a situation of too little too late. I had been working toward this for a while now and I had accepted that most of the profiles are fake. When a girl showed a little interest, in the end, it just wasn’t enough to make me stay.
Good luck meeting with anyone that you find at eHarmony. It’s probably going to take a commitment of a lot of months of searching and an expensive monthly payment to get there. Take your money to a site that is not so shitty. I’m not the only one that had this issue either. Trust me, there are plenty of members that have had to deal with this issue before.
Deleting Your eHarmony Login
Once you have had enough of eHarmony and you are ready to bail out; it’s fairly easy to cancel. After logging in, just click “Settings” button in the top menu. Select “Account Settings” then click on “Billing.” Scroll all the way down to the bottom and you will see a link that reads, “Close Account.” Simply confirm your closed account and you’re done. Just remember that, when you cancel, you lose your matches and your communication with them is virtually over. Who gives a shit though right! It’s not effective anyway so it doesn’t really matter one bit.
Conclusion: eHarmony Reviews And Complaints All Lead To Bad News. Don’t Join!
I would have to say pass on eHarmony unless you are ready to waste a lot of money. It’s too much hassle, there are too many fake profiles on the site and the results that you’re trying to achieve are not even close to being good. They suck and they are so bad that people have even posted videos of how bad the services is. I encourage you to watch this video before you join the site.
