I’m just going to come right out and say it. There is a special place in hell for sites like Christian Mingle. It might be the worst dating site I’ve ever come across. Sure, they claim to be a site that helps bring Christians who share the same values together.
What they don’t tell you is that they are part of a network of sites called the Spark Network. This network specializes in scamming practices, not finding you a date. Other sites on the network include JDate which is a Jewish dating site as well as BlackSingles.com and many more. Check out my full review for more details.
My Full Review Of Christian Mingle And Why It’s Terrible
If you want to confirm that Christian Mingle engages in scamming practices, all you have to do is check out the fine print. Their terms and conditions lay it out for all to see. This is where they tell you that they engage in at least two fraudulent practices that are common among dating scam sites. They admit it right there that they reuse your profile and information on other sites. This means that they generate fake profiles to fool people into using the site and even use your information to do it. That doesn’t seem too Christian-like does it? They also admit to sending you fake messages as well.
The sad thing is that this would be a good site for Christian singles if they actually made the effort to make it genuine. All the descriptive profile questions would be great to find a match for you who shares you values and interests. Sadly, they only use their site to scam you and get money from you.
They don’t seem very concerned with anything else. It is a popular site, so you do have a chance of meeting a real person on there, but this should not be as rare as it is.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to spend the majority of my time on a dating site trying to figure out if someone who contacted me is real or not. Sure, there are going to be some scammers here and there on just about any dating site, but this one seems to make the scam their first priority.
Messaging Girls On The Site
I don’t think I have ever received as many messages from beautiful women on a dating site as I did at Christian Mingle. The messages pour in fast and furious and you start to feel like you are the stud of the site. This is how they pull you in and get you to pay for a membership because you can’t answer these messages until you do.
None of these women answered me, but I did manage to message a real girl later on. We messaged back and forth and she seemed interested, but did not want to take it to the next level. I suspect she might have been an employee of the site that was just leading me to pay for another month of membership.
Phone Calls
I did end up messaging, what I think was, a real girl. However, she didn’t want to talk on the phone. It’s strange that she seemed so interested but stopped messaging me when I wanted a phone call. This is what makes me think that this was an employee of the site. I really don’t like being used like this. Especially from a site that claims to cater to religious people.
Meet Christian Girls (Really?)
I didn’t even get to talk to a girl on the phone. It goes without saying that I never met anyone in person. I did give it a good try even though all the signs of a scam were there, but I wanted to give the site a chance. That chance did not pan out. I hope you will learn from my experience and look elsewhere for a date.
Canceling
If you still decide to try Christian Mingle for yourself, it’s just a matter of time before will want to cancel your membership. Just keep in mind that, even if you delete your account and profile, it will still be on the site for them to use.
The service with renew automatically if you don’t cancel. To cancel auto-renewal, click on Membership Management in the drop down menu of your profile. Click on Cancel Subscription. Just follow the on screen instructions after that.
Conclusion: Christian Mingle Scamming Practices Are Enough Reason To Steer Clear
There is a small chance that you will find a nice Christian to date, but I did not. It’s just not worth the time and money you spend with very little chance of talking to a real person. This site is not recommended and I personally feel like they should be ashamed of themselves.
Do Christian girls use adult dating sites to meet guys?
That’s the magic question that everyone has been trying to answer. Good news is, many Christians use adult dating sites when they just want to have a quick casual fling of some sort. I suggest you do the same if you want to successfully meet someone to fuck. You don’t need to use a dating site that is based on religious preference. Instead, choose to use a more broad based casual dating website and you’ll get lucky.
